The Kidd Residence was designed for a prominent hillside in West Austin with spectacular views of the city, capital grounds and UT campus. The idea of living with this vista created a linear plan, ordered with living areas focused on the UT campus, and Master Bedroom area overlooking the green hills of South Austin. The client wanted symmetry and traditional forms with a twist of contemporary simplicity, inside and out.
